Cara Hewett

Outreach Trainer, Author, Group Leader

Cara describes herself as having a lifelong insatiable curiosity into the study of human behavior.  This led her into a master’s degree and a 20-year career in mental health counseling.

As a counselor, she found the boundaries of traditional psychotherapy counseling confining and often ineffective.  This realization led to the exploration of the importance of the role of the subconscious mind.  Subsequently, she became fascinated with the science of brain wave states, which led to certification as a hypnotherapist.

Her first Monroe program, the Gateway Voyage, in 2017, opened her awareness to so many tools of growth both personally and professionally. She has much gratitude for the Monroe Institute and wants to contribute by facilitating the teachings and mission of the Monroe Institute in her community in Central Florida.
