Kikuno was born in Kyoto, Japan.  After graduating from Doshisha University, she worked for several colleges as a Japanese language teacher.

In 2005 she lost her beloved son by a sudden traffic accident. She strongly desired to know where he was and how he was doing. In 2006 this prompted her to participate in Gateway Voyage and other Hemi-Sync seminars, in which she started to explore the afterlife realms. She has participated in several TMI residential programs including Starlines II.

Since 2009 she has been working as a staff member for Aquavision Academy, which conducts various TMI programs in Japan. In 2019 she became a TMI Outreach Trainer and started to conduct Hemi-Sync seminars, primarily in the Kyoto area, Japan.
