Sharon had her first out-of-body experience at age 7. She has been a lucid dreamer since her teen years. Not having the language to describe these experiences, she has been an active seeker of expanded consciousness since, weaving her interest in as she could while raising a family and working in corporate America.

Sharon became interested in natural healing and became a Reiki Master in 2001. She discovered the Monroe Institute in 2017. This discovery gave her the vocabulary for her non-physical experiences. 

Since being introduced to Bob Monroe's tools and research, she became like a sponge, soaking up the simplicity of using non-invasive technology to explore and expand human potential. After over 20 wonderful experiences with Monroe courses in just five years, she decided to become an Outreach Trainer to help as many people as possible to experience more of their total selves.

This second endeavor follows a 30-year career with a Fortune 50 company, having retired from the corporate world in 2013.

An Alabama native, Hastings completed her bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Alabama.  She obtained her master's in computer science from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Sharon earned her Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute.  She completed all courses for a doctorate in organization and management. Sharon also participated in several executive programs, including those at Columbia University.
